Car theory preparationDriving Theory Test
Preparation course overview
This course supports learner drivers preparing for the official car theory test in Great Britain. We combine topic revision, multiple-choice practice and hazard-perception coaching so learners understand both parts of the test rather than simply memorising answers.
What we help you prepare
The Highway Code and rules of the road
Road signs, markings and traffic signals
Speed, stopping distances and safer driving decisions
Vulnerable road users, motorway and vehicle-safety awareness
Incident response and first-aid awareness included in theory learning
Multiple-choice practice and timed mock tests
How to identify developing hazards in hazard-perception clips
Know the official car theory test
The multiple-choice part contains 50 questions and allows 57 minutes.
You need at least 43 out of 50 to pass the multiple-choice part.
Hazard perception uses 14 video clips and has a pass mark of 44 out of 75.
Both parts must be passed to pass the overall theory test.
The official car theory test is booked separately and currently costs £23.
Important: Prime Services provides preparation only. We do not conduct the official theory test, and the £100 course fee does not include the official test fee. The official car theory test is administered through the government/DVSA testing service.
